Many visitors rave about the friendly and attentive staff – they truly enhance the dining experience at Tamarindos. Customers also appreciate the fun touch of sunglasses adorning the drinks, making for an enjoyable presentation. The Torta Cubana offers a flavorful nod to Cuban nostalgia, leaving diners speechless with each bite. Most Disliked
Some customers mention that the food can take a bit longer during peak hours, especially around lunchtime, leading to longer waits. A few diners also point out occasional communication issues when customizing their orders, but staff generally quickly rectify misunderstandings. While many love the vibrant colors and atmosphere, a small percentage find it too lively for a quiet meal. Also, occasionally, certain items may run out, especially during busy times, so being mindful of the most popular dishes can save you a disappointment.

I am a traveling worker and I must come here if I am driving through or working in Temple. The food is on another level. The owner is an amazing man. The staff is super friendly. To be honest I got lured in here by the company logo. The character in the logo looks exactly like Mr. Hanky from South Park 😂 which makes me love this place even more!

Honestly, I never do any reviews from my hometown but Tamarindos never does me wrong. EVER. I ordered the pozole to go today and that soup was warm, they’re generous with their portions and add alot of meat and maíz inside the soup. Always with the fresh ingredients and it came with 3 tostadas on the side. I just want to publicly say they’re the best of the best in Temple and their prices are fair.

I had a great surprise and didn't know what to expect. My lunch took a while to make but it was hot fresh and flavorful. It was made to order so the meat had to be cooked for my burrito. I had a little communication problem but they knew what I wanted. After several minutes I got my food. I wasn't disappointed at all. If you're in the area differently give the restaurant a try and you'll be happy you did. I'd go here again.

I got the Torta Cubana and I was silent throughout the whole meal. I am not from Cuba. However, I could feel every bit of nostalgia in this Cuban classic. Every bite was better than the last, and I literally could not put it down. I wish I could stay in town to enjoy this restaurant more, with its vibrant colors, fun wall art, and friendly staff. Any time I come back to Temple, this place will be first on my list for places to eat.
